Eugene Peters Obituary
Eugene R. “Gene” Peters Jr., 61, of Shoemakersville, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at his home.
Born August 23, 1957 in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of Joan L. (Goss) Peters, Clifton Heights, PA and the late Eugene R. Peters Sr. He and his wife of 26 years, Randi C. (Swenson) Peters, were married on May 16, 1992 in Romansville, PA.
Gene was an IT Specialist last working for Orio North America, Inc., Bethlehem. He previously worked for McKesson, Lebanon, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange and OMX, Philadelphia, as well as Amtrak.
Gene graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1976 and Drexel University in 1981. He loved woodworking, his horses, his cats and especially his family.
Gene is preceded in death by his father and his nephew, Alex Peters.
Gene is survived by his wife, Randi, his mother, Joan, his two sons, Scott Peters, husband of Nicole (Okinsky) Peters, York, PA and Kevin Peters, husband of Carolyn (Boyer) Peters, Fairless Hills, PA and his grandchildren, Taylor, Aubrey and Roslyn. Gene also leaves behind 3 sisters, Joan D. Peters, Clifton Heights, Sharon (Peters) Morris, wife of John Morris, Drexel Hill and Donna (Peters) Siddell, Havertown, his brother, Brian Peters, Rochester, NY and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Gene will be private.
