Ronald L. Bortz Jr.

Ronald L. “Ronnie” Bortz Jr., 36, of Kutztown, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 16, 1982 in Allentown, he was the son of Cathy R. (Peters) and Ronald L. Bortz, Sr., Kutztown.

Ronnie worked for many years in landscaping. He loved fishing, playing pool and bowling. He graduated in 2000 from Kutztown Area High School.

In addition to his mother and father, Ronnie is survived by his son, Brehson L. Bortz, his sister, Alyssa M. (Bortz) Luckenbill, wife of Cody A. Luckenbill, Hamburg, his two nephews, Gabe and Jacob, his maternal grandfather, Bruce P. Peters, and his wife, Margaret Peters, Kutztown and by his paternal grandmother, Anna M. Bortz, widow of Franklin R. Bortz, Topton.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Regina J. Peters.

Services for Ronnie will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
