Mrs. Anna M. (Simitz) Bauman

Mrs. Anna M. (Simitz) Bauman, 91, of Blandon, formerly of Quakertown, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 in Exeter Township, PA.

Born November 5, 1930 in Spinnerstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Berghold) and Rudolph Simitz. Her husband of 59 years, Horace Bauman, died June 20, 2011.

Anna worked as a secretary for the Upper Bucks County Vo-Tech School. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, Pennsburg and a 1948 graduate of Quakertown High School. Anna loved traveling, knitting, bird watching and doing crossword puzzles.

Anna is survived by her three sons, Kevin P. Bauman, husband of Nancy (King) Bauman, Columbus, OH, Michael K. Bauman, husband of Kimetha (Walker) Bauman, LaPorte, TX, and Eric S. Bauman, husband of Jane L. (Himmelsbach) Bauman, Blandon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jenny Dickson, wife of Rob Dickson, Jeff Bauman, husband of Amanda Bauman, Eric Bauman, husband of Sarah Bauman, Rachael Tan, wife of Tom Tan, Kate Bauman, wife of Daniel Roper, Jason Koehler, companion of Erica Leppo, Jessica Beggs and her partner, Joe Flacco, Seth Bauman and Casey Bauman, companion of Brandon Soliday, by her great-grandchildren, George, Rebecca, Caden, Emily, Kaden and Sylvia, and by her sisters, Sandra Simitz, Lea Buzby and Dolores Ruppel, wife of James Millington.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Rudolph Jr., Erna, Lillian, and Rosemarie.

Memorial Services for Anna will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Private burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg.
