Mrs. Barbara J. (Iskra) Love, 79, of Breinigsville, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at her home on Monday morning, November 3, 2025.
Born May 11, 1946, in Bloomsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Lucas) Iskra. She and her husband of 56 years, Robert M. Love, were married on April 19, 1969, in Morrisville, PA.
Barb was a 1964 graduate of Bishop Egan High School. Barb spent time working as the secretary for the head of labor relations at Bethlehem Steel, worked in Princeton, NJ for Gallop & Robinson, taking polls, and eventually worked with Jim Saunders, managing the construction of homes for his home building company.
Barb was a member of the Church on the Hill, Kutztown, where she was active in the church, especially with the youth. Most of all, Barb was a devoted wife, and a loving mother to her six children. She loved playing tennis and gardening, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Robert, Barb is survived by her children, Kelly M. Love, husband of Dawn L. (Caliman) Love, Maxatawny Township, Kasey M. Love, husband of Janice (Fetterman) Love, Kutztown, Jennifer J. (Love) Keers, wife of Jesse Keers, Georgetown, GA, Katy J. (Love) Clausen, wife of Andrew W. Clausen, Providence Village, TX, Becky J. (Love) Haney, wife of Jon Haney, Orefield, and Korry M. Love, husband of Bethany (Pinto) Love, Zionsville.
Barb is also survived by her grandchildren, Erica, Rachel, Kiehl, Josh, David, Courtney, Haley, Ben, Noah, Morgan, Alyssa, Sarah, Josh, Jake, Jack, T.J., Briana, Nora, Dylan, Tyler, Kyle, Emma and Levi, by her sisters, Terese (Iskra) Foti, wife of Jim Foti, Langhorne, and Susan (Iskra) Williams, wife of Gordon Williams, Blue Bell, and by many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her two brothers, James Iskra and Phillip Iskra.
Services for Barb will be held privately by her family.
