Benjamin D. Miller

August 5, 2005 — January 11, 2024

Benjamin D. Miller, 18, of Blandon, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Tower Health, Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.

Born August 5, 2005, in West Reading, Ben was the son of Brian C. and Caitlin T. (Kravatz) Miller, Blandon.

Ben was a senior at Fleetwood Area High School where he was a member of the Fleetwood Area High School Football Team, proudly wearing #66. Ben was a tenacious player and a nasty competitor on the field, but had a softer side and a huge heart, that allowed him to be a true teammate and brother to his football family. Ben started playing football in the Fleetwood Youth Football program at 5 years old and played all the way through his senior year, this fall, with the football team.

When Ben wasn't playing football, he kept busy weightlifting year-round and helping his Mom and Dad by working at the family stand, The Hot Spot, at the Fairgrounds Square Farmers Market. He loved the 76ers, the Phillies and, especially, the Eagles, and enjoyed playing video games and going to the beach.

Surviving along with his Mom and Dad, are his sister, Irie R.E. Miller, at home, his YaYa, Yvonne Gerhart-Kravatz, Muhlenberg Twp, his Pop, Timothy F. Kravatz, Blandon, his Mom Mom, Roseann G. (Spannuth) Rothenberger, Exeter, and by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his partner in crime, his cousin, Zeke Specht, and by his girlfriend, Angela Catania.

Ben was preceded in death by his Pappy, Dennis E. Miller, and his Pop Pop, David B. Rothenberger.

Funeral Services for Ben will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
