Catherine H. Bortz

Catherine H. Bortz, 55, of Reading, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her home.

Born February 22, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Hisako (Watanabe) and Charles G. Bortz Sr.

Catherine attended the Reading School District and was a seamstress in her younger years. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing and most of all, crafting with her grandchildren.

Catherine is survived by her two daughters, Toshyko A. (Bortz) Capellan, Reading and Tiffany L. (High) Lopes, wife of Derek M. Lopes, Reading, and her grandchildren, Shailynn, Arianna, Kiera, Kayden and Dylan. She is also survived by her brothers, Charles G. Bortz Jr., husband of Lynn (Kline) Bortz, Reading and Rick D. Bortz, husband of Shelley (High) Bortz, Reading, her sister, Abby J. (Bortz) Weand, wife of Barry L. Weand, Jr., Reading and by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Catherine will be private.
