Charles L. Angstadt, 81, of Rockland Township, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, at his home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
Born July 19, 1944 in Allentown, Charlie was the son of the late Walter J. and Florence R. (Rex) Angstadt.
Charlie served his country honorably and faithfully as a Specialist (4) in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Charlie worked for Union Garage in Allentown, Mack Trucks, both at the Allentown and Macungie Plants, Caloric, Topton and Victaulic, Alburtis. He loved hunting and fishing, especially in Pulaski, NY and at Leaser Lake, and visiting with his friends socializing.
Charlie is survived by his children, Jason C. Angstadt, Fleetwood, and Veronica L. Angstadt, Kutztown, his grandson, Matthew D. Boyer, Fleetwood, his granddaughter, Madison E. Angstadt, Fleetwood, the mother of his children, Lynnette Cox, Reidsville, NC, his brothers, Ernest J. Angstadt, husband of Elaine Angstadt, Slatington, and Nelson J. Angstadt, husband of Janice Angstadt, Walnutport, and by several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his step-brother, David Roth.
A Celebration of Life for Charlie will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Rockland Rod & Gun Club, 77 Fredericksville Rd, Mertztown, PA.
