Charles P. "Chad" Boyce

Charles P. "Chad" Boyce, 55, of Fleetwood, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 9, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri, Chad was the son of the late Michael and Jean Ada (Thompson) Boyce. He and his wife, Maria C. (Tucci) Boyce, were married on May 3, 2018 in Fleetwood.

Chad served his country honorably in the United States Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He worked as a grocery manager at Weis groceries stores in Kutztown, Hamburg, and several other locations. He also worked as a forklift operator at Graphite Machining, Inc., Topton, until his illness.

Chad was a member of GT North Church, Kutztown. He was a devout man of God who loved Jesus and during his five year battle with cancer, never waivered in his trust in his Lord and Savior. Chad knew he was a child of God who was saved through God's grace and mercy. He remained positive throughout his battle.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Maria, are his children, Elizabeth Boyce, Hamburg, Seth Boyce, Georgia, Joscalyn Boyce, Fleetwood, and Cecelia Boyce, Fleetwood, his sister, Susan Boyce, and his brother, Scotty Boyce.

Along with his parents, Chad was preceded in death by his brother, Tracy Boyce.

Services for Chad will be held privately by his family.
