Christine Porreca

Christine Porreca, 53, of Reading, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Manor Care, Sinking Spring.

Born December 27, 1963 in Haverford, PA, she was the daughter of Marian (Montalto) Rosenthal, Philadelphia, and the late Othello Porreca.

Christine was a paralegal and had been a model and an actress. She was a 1981 graduate of Haverford High School and attended paralegal school.

Christine was a vibrant woman who had a great sense of humor and passion for life. She loved culture and always hoped to travel and gain new experiences. She especially loved the arts including theatre and music. Christine was a wonderful artist, especially her drawing. She enjoyed making jewelry, reading, movies and animals, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to Christine's mother are her two daughters, Chris M. McCoy, wife of Michael A. McCoy, West Reading and Melissa Martinelli, companion of Daniel Collazo, Prospect Park, PA. She is also survived by her grandson, Landon C. McCoy, her granddaughter, Isabella L. Collazo, her sisters, Harrelyn Rosenthal, Loretta Porreca, Adrienne Stanton and Cheryl Rosenthal and nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, Christine was preceded in death by her sister, Annamarie Rhoads.

Funeral Services for Christine will be private.
