Clyde J. "Boomie" Weidman, 87, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday morning, November 23, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.
Born March 6, 1938, Clyde was the son of the late Lloyd and Anna Mae (Weinhold) Weidman.
Clyde served his country honorably and faithfully as a specialist in the United States Army.
Clyde was an English teacher at the Fleetwood Area Middle School for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a 1956 graduate of Lebanon High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in English from Millersville University in 1967. Clyde loved horses and taught horseback riding lessons for many years.
Clyde is survived by his nephews, John Patrick Weidman, Greg Weidman and John Christian Weidman, his niece, Wendy Seeger, his great nephews, Joseph and Andrew, by his great niece, Mallory, and by the hundreds of kids whose lives he touched.
Along with his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Weidman, Ronald Weidman and Lynn Weidman.
Memorial Services for Clyde will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 10:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. Inurnment will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
A visitation for Clyde will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 9:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.
