David L. Christ

David L. Christ, 73, of Laureldale, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Laureldale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born September 30, 1952, in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul W. and Ruth A. (Stitzer) Christ.

David worked for Industrial Plywood, Reading, driving truck, doing maintenance and working in the warehouse. He also worked for numerous woodshops and for Polymer in Reading. He was a member of Rosedale United Church of Christ, Laureldale, the Pagoda Ramblers Camping Club an the Old Time Plow Boys Club, New Tripoli.

David was a 1971 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and also studied to be a mechanic at aviation school. David loved woodworking, tractors and equipment both big and small, photography and working outside in nature.

David is survived by his longtime companion, Lannie S. (Jarvis) Unger, Bernville, and by two nephews and a niece.

Services for David will be held privately.
