David L. Rodgers

David L. Rodgers, 70, of Hamburg, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Reading Hospital, West Reading.

Born July 31, 1947 in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Prough) Rodgers.

David worked for many years at the Hamburg State Hospital as a Utility Plant Operator. He volunteered numerous hours at the Hamburg Center as well, receiving awards recognizing his service. David was a 1965 graduate of Hamburg High School and was an avid bowler.

David is survived by his daughter, Denise M. (Heffner) Nolt, wife of Harold M. Nolt, Fleetwood, and his grandchildren, Alicia M. (Nolt) Seaman, wife of Brian G. Seaman, Kutztown, Ashley M. Nolt, fiancee of Ryan M. Scheffler, Fleetwood and Tyler R. Nolt, Fleetwood. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Kahlan A. Seaman and Conor B. Seaman and his brother, Michael Rodgers, Hamburg.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, David Rodgers and his sister, Betty Rodgers.

Graveside services for David will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. John's Cemetery, 55 Church Street, Hamburg, with the Rev. Gary J. Dierolf officiating.
