David W. Schmoyer

David W. Schmoyer, 46, of Blandon, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Reading Hospital.

Born February 26, 1971 in Allentown, he was the son of Blenn L. (Rice) and Bobby Raub, Blandon and William Schmoyer, Cumberland, MD.

David worked with computer systems and spent time as an IT Director in North Carolina. He also worked with stained glass and making custom jewelry along with roofing and painting. He also loved to play video games.

David graduated from Kutztown Area High School in 1989 and was a member of the Army National Guard.

In addition to his parents, David is survived by his sisters, Dawn L. (Schmoyer) Steinert, wife of Keith Steinert, Temple, Lura B. (Schmoyer) Faust, wife of Matthew F. Faust, Kutztown, his brother, Luke A. Schmoyer and his companion Jane Rice, Kutztown, his nieces, Misty and Patience and his nephews, Shane, Dominic, Anthony, Dominick, Jebediah, Kyle and Ethan. He is also survived by his great niece, Madison and his step-siblings, Lori Ann Werley, wife of Eric Werley, Breinigsville, Jody Raub, Kutztown and Bobbie Jo Raub-Kahler, wife of Tracey Kahler, Quakertown.

Funeral Services for David will be private.
