Mrs. Deborah L. (Groves) Mills, 75, of Maidencreek Township, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA.
Born July 21, 1950, in Ephrata, PA, she was the daughter of the late Betty Haines. She and the love of her life, her husband of 55 years, Timothy W. Mills, were married on November 30, 1969, in Thomasville, PA.
Debbie was a 1968 graduate of Ephrata High School and attended Shippensburg University. She and her husband, Tim, owned and operated the former Mills Hardware. She also worked as an accounts receivable clerk at East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc., Lyon Station.
Debbie was a member of the Blandon Lions Club and Gideons International Auxiliary. She was an active member at Trinity Bible Fellowship Church, Blandon, where in addition to being financial secretary, was a member of the hospitality and membership committees.
Debbie enjoyed crocheting and reading, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren always brought joy to Debbie, and they will dearly miss their Grammy.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Tim, are her children, Lori A. (Mills) Berger, wife of Dennis B. Berger, Felton, PA, and Jeffrey M. Mills, husband Jennifer M. Mills, Macungie, her granddaughters, Lauren A. (Berger) Hurt, wife of Christopher A. Hurt, Felton, PA, Rachael J. (Mills) Cooper, wife of Rashon Cooper, El Paso, TX, and Kaleigh E. Mills, Allentown, Justin L. Heffner, Macungie, Gavin R. Heffner, Macungie, Nolin A. Heffner, Macungie her great-grandchildren, Easton Matthew Hurt and Ember Lynn Hurt, her brother and sisters, Donald E. Mills, husband of Dawn Mills, Dreama D. Haldeman, wife of Jim Haldeman, Mary K. Blevins, wife of Rick Blevins, and Sheila R. Pryer, wife of Greg Pryer, and by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services for Debbie will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10:00 am at Trinity Bible Fellowship Church, 220 Main Street, Blandon, PA. A visitation with the family will be held from 8:30 am until time of services at the church.
