Dennis J. Deisher

Dennis J. Deisher, 74, of Kutztown, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his home.

Born August 20, 1949, in Reading, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy Deisher. He and his wife of 53 years, Ann A. (Alexander) Deisher, were married on April 25, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dennis served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Dennis worked for Barta Bus for 22 years as a mechanic and also did the body work on vans, buses and trucks. Dennis had also worked for Teledyne Amco, Mohnton, Bethlehem Steel, Pottstown, and Reading Body Works.

Dennis attended Reading High School and enjoyed working outside, music, dining out and traveling. Most of all, he loved working on show cars he owned and for others as well.

In addition to his wife, Ann, Dennis is survived by his brother, James C. Deisher, husband of Marcia Deisher, Largo, Florida.

Services for Dennis will be held privately.
