Eliseo Cintron Ortiz

Eliseo Cintron Ortiz, 73, of Reading, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Reading Hospital.

Born December 2, 1944 in Rio Piedras, PR, he was the son of the late Margarita (Cintron) Ortiz and Olegario Ortiz Padilia.

Eliseo spent many years in carpentry and was of the Catholic faith.

Eliseo is survived by his wife, Maria E. (Torres Maldonado) Ortiz, his children, Ely R. Ortiz, Marienville, PA, Rozalynd Ortiz, wife of John Ramos, Reading and Eliseo Ortiz Jr., Harrisburg, PA and his step-daughters, Elsy Ruiz, Lebanon and Johanna Rosado, Puerto Rico. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Elyana, Tatiana, Alexis, Eliseo, Kayla, Johnny, Carmelo, Dominique, Nayarett, his great-grandchildren, Amauyiah, Zaniah, Josiah, Adrian and Jermiah, his twin sister, Alicia Ortiz, his sisters, Francisca Ortiz and Carmen Lydia Ortiz and his brother, Israel Ortiz.

Along with his parents, Eliseo was preceded in death by his siblings, Pablo Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz, Benita Ortiz and Carmelo Ortiz.

Funeral Services for Eliseo will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
