Eulalia Mendez-Reyes

Eulalia Mendez-Reyes, 84, of Fleetwood, passed away at her home on Monday, January 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 13, 1941 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Eulalia was the daughter of the late Rafael Mendez and Ramona Reyes.

Eulalia graduated high school in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and went on to own and operate Lala's Bridal Shop, Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, for many years, where she specialized in wedding dresses, prom gowns and many other projects that required her special skills as a seamstress. Eulalia also owned and operated the Old San Juan restaurant in Norristown, PA, where she served traditional Spanish food.

Eulalia attended Fleetwood Bible Church and also Iglesia Evangelica Hispanic Luz y Verdad, Bethlehem. She loved flowers and cooking, but most of all, truly enjoyed sewing, especially the dresses for her family members special occasions.

Eulalia is survived by her three children, Anna M. Gonzalez-Paden, wife of Clifford Paden, Spencer, NC, Miguel A. "Mike" Martinez, husband of Virginia Martinez, Clarksville, TN, and Elizabeth "Lisa" Martinez-Fuentes, wife of Walter A. Fuentes, Fleetwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony, Hope, David, Joshua, Elena, Erica, Sarah, Sofia, Amanda, Gabriel, Alex, Joshua, Josiah and by her great-grandchildren, Josiah, Zayvion and Alexavier.

Along with her parents, Eulalia was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Priscilla, Jorge, Elizabeth, Miguel, Israel and Ruth.

Services for Eulalia will be held privately by her family.
