Gary R. Marshall Sr.

Gary R. Marshall, Sr., 80, of Fleetwood, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA.

Born April 10, 1946, in New Brighton, PA, Gary was the son of the late Julius and Margaret E. (Betke) Marshall. He and his wife of 59 years, Nancy L. (Law) Marshall, were married on February 10, 1967, in Beaver Falls, PA.

Gary served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Navy, serving on board the USS Parsons during the Vietnam War.

Gary worked for over 40 years for Babcock & Wilcox Company, Beaver Falls, PA. He started out as a laborer and worked his way up to foreman in the plant and eventually Supervisor of Production and Planning in the office.

Gary was a 1964 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. He truly enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, could fix just about anything with his hands. His passion was working on and restoring old trucks, home remodeling, and above all, his family.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, Gary is survived by his two children, Leane Renee (Marshall), Harrisburg, and Gary R. "Ritch" Marshall, Jr., husband of Amy L. (Scukanec) Marshall, Oxford, his grandchildren, Lauren Styer, Alexa Styer, Eric Marshall, and Ryan Marshall, his sister, Janet Marshall, Canton, OH, his nephews, Kevin Strub, husband of Laura Strub, and Eric Strub, husband of Melissa Strub, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frank H. Law, Mary Ann DeWitt, and Jacqueline Berry, and by their children.

Services for Gary will be held privately by his family.
