Gerald S. Witmer

Gerald S. Witmer, 62, of Hamburg, passed away on Monday morning, October 23, 2017 at Manor Care Health Services, West Reading.

Born November 24, 1954 in Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Roy A. and Minerva E. (Merkel) Witmer.

Gerald worked for Red Cheek, Fleetwood and Premium Beverage, Reading, in machine maintenance. He also worked in maintenance for Tom Schaeffer's RV Super Store, Shoemakersville.

Gerald enjoyed gardening and flowers and was a 1972 graduate of Emmaus High School.

Gerald is survived by his three brothers, William G. Witmer, husband of Deborah Witmer, Alburtis, Roy A. Witmer, Jr., husband of Mary Witmer, Valencia, California and Richard D. Witmer, husband of Donna S. Witmer, Allentown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Gerald was preceded in death by his sister, Sara Colecio.

Funeral Services for Gerald will be private.
