Harriet M. (Santee) Wasser, 79, of Lower Macungie Twp, passed away on Thurs, June 25, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born Nov. 26, 1935 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Emma (Kern) Santee. She and her husband, Joseph F. Wasser were married on July 15, 1967 and celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary last year.

Harriet was a 1953 graduate of William Allen High School. She was a secretary at AT&T, Breiningsville for many years in the Purchasing Dept. She had also worked as a secretary for Air Products, Trexlertown.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Allentown, the Shepherd Hills Ladies Golf Association, the Mercantile Club, Emmaus and the Shepherd Hills Bowling Association. Harriet truly enjoyed watching her soap operas, doing crossword puzzles, sewing, playing cards and especially the slots on her casino trips.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, Harriet is survived by her children, Bonita A. "Bonnie" (Brandt), wife of Todd Stickel, Macungie, Gina K. (Wasser) wife of Barry Sharesky, Macungie, Leslie S. (Wasser) wife of Michael Gimbel, Alburtis, Christopher R. Brandt, Allentown and Joseph P. Wasser, partner of Terry Long, Rotunda West, Florida. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Morgan, Kendyl, Matthew, Connor, Tyler and Garrett.

Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, a son, John G. Wasser, sisters Elizabeth Frisch, Delores Kacmarcik, brothers Edmund Santee, Richard Santee and her first husband, Robert W. Brandt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown, PA. A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Transplant Foundation, 401 N. Third St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
