Harry Lee Brown, 87, of Wyomissing, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.
Born November 19, 1937 in Woodbury, New Jersey, Lee was the son of the late Harry E. and Catherine (Bigonette) Brown. He and the love of his life, his wife of 48 years, Rebecca J. (Sibole) Brown, were married in Brigantine, New Jersey on September 8, 1976.
Lee served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Air Force.
Lee worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for over 30 years as a Program Systems Analyst. He also worked at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia as an electrician. Lee was a 1955 graduate of Collingswood High School and attended Drexel University.
Lee was a member of Community Presbyterian Church, Brigantine, New Jersey, where served as an elder and a deacon. He and Rebecca spent 20 years living in the Florida Keys and Hobe Sound. He truly enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and boating. Lee was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Rebecca, Lee is survived by his son, Jeffrey Brown, husband of Bonnie Brown, Westwood, New Jersey, his daughter, Erin K. (kenna) Koons, wife of Ron Koons, Linwood, New Jersey, his grandchildren, Hagen Brown, Caelan Brown and Ian Brown, all of Westwood, New Jersey, and David Cottrill, husband of Hannah Cottrill, Robesonia, his great-grandchildren, Faith Cottrill and Malachi Cottrill, his sister, Sandra Driscoll, widow of Wade Driscoll, East Lima, Ohio, and by a niece and nephew.
Along with his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his son, Gary Brown.
Services for Lee will be held privately by his family.
