Haston E. "Buddy" Rauenzahn

Haston E. "Buddy" Rauenzahn, 82, of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 3, 1933 in Richmond Twp, he was the son of the late Hasten E. and Edna M. (Bieber) Rauenzahn. He and his wife of 55 years, Miriam (Borrell) Rauenzahn were married on June 11, 1960 in Fleetwood.

Buddy was a long time employee of the Borough of Fleetwood, having worked in the sewer department for 26 years. He also drove truck for many years for various companies. He attended the Stone Lane one room schoolhouse in Fleetwood and especially enjoyed woodworking and working around his home and property.

Buddy served his country honorably as a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, Miriam, Buddy is survived by his son, Kerry L. Rauenzahn, husband of Catherine A. (Santangelo) Rauenzahn, Fleetwood, his daughter, Shawney R. (Rauenzahn) Geisinger, wife of Greg A. Geisinger, Fleetwood, his grandchildren Joseph, Rachelle, Christopher, Kelly, Meghann, Katie and Jacob and his great grandchildren, Dante, Landon, Ella and Nora.
