John K. Dillman, 78, of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Above and Beyond at the Knights, Allentown, PA.

Born February 1, 1947, in Ringtown Valley, John was the son of the late John P. and Elizabeth E. (Durkin) Dillman.

John served his country honorably and faithfully as a Yeoman's Third Class in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

John worked as a Veterans Administration representative in the Tamaqua office for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for over 30 years. He was a 1965 graduate of Ringtown High School and a member of the Harry A. Kase Post #289, American Legion, Ringtown.

John was a volunteer with the Collings Foundation, where he flew the B17, and a member of the Alamo Association. John truly enjoyed flying airplanes and hanging out with his veteran buddies at the mall and the airport.

John is survived by his brother, Craig L. Dillman, husband of Jan Dillman, Sugarloaf, PA, his sister, Lisa L. Breidegam, wife of Carl T. Breidegam, Mertztown, and by his nephews, Evan Dillman, husband of Georgie, Jason Dillman, husband of Sandra, and Ross Breidegam.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Ann Dillman, who passed away as a baby.

Services for John will be held privately by his family. Burial will take place in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.
