Joseph F. Wasser

Joseph "Joe" F. Wasser, 90, of Rotonda West, Florida, formerly Wescosville, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, on 8/28/26. He was the son of the late Sophie (Longo) and John G. Wasser.

Joe was a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University and spent his entire professional career with Western Electric, Allentown, PA.

Joe's true passion in life was golf. His many awards included club champion at Shepherd Hills Golf Course, Heidelberg Country Club as well as 7 hole in ones. Joe was a custom club maker over 40 years, and continued fitting and selling clubs up until his death. Joe loved playing cards and sharing his many golf stories with family and friends.

Joe's quick wit, fun-loving nature, and unique ability to connect with people left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Whether through shared interests or heartfelt conversations, he made everyone feel valued.

Joe is survived by his daughters; Gina (Barry) Mikosky; Leslie (Mike) Gimbel, Bonnie (Todd) Stickel; his sons; Christopher Brandt, Joseph (Terry) Long; and 6 grandchildren, Matthew, Connor, Morgan, Kendyl, Tyler, Garrett, and Leonard and 2 great grandchildren; Carmela and Leonard II, who brought him immense joy. He was predeceased by Harriet Santee, his wife of 47 years, his sister Theresa Ricapito, and his son John G. Wasser (Sharon)

A Memorial Mass for Joseph will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 16, 2026 at St. Thomas More RC Church, 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown. Visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.
