Leland T. Carl

Leland T. Carl, 72, of Kutztown, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born November 12, 1943 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Terrence and Martha (Gower) Carl. He and his wife of 31 years, Linda E. (Moyer) Carl were married on November 25, 1984 in Allentown.

Leland worked for 15 years at Gary's Shell Station, Emmaus assisting with auto repairs and fuel. He was a member of the Kutztown Rod & Gun Club and the American Legion, Ray A. Master Post 217, Topton. He also had life memberships with the Emmaus VFW, Mercantile Club of Emmaus and the Macungie Fire Company.

Leland served his country honorable as a member of the United States Navy and had attended the Emmaus High School.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Linda, are his three stepchildren, Joslyn E. Moyer, Emmaus, Anthony C. Moyer, Allentown and Jeremy J. Moyer, Kutztown. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Cassandra Moyer.

Funeral services for Leland will be private.
