Mrs. Lillie A. (Sweitzer) Herb

Mrs. Lillie A. (Sweitzer) Herb, 76, of Leesport, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Promedica, Laureldale.

Born February 6, 1947, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur R. and June H. (Limpus) Sweitzer. Her husband of 56 years, Henry L. Herb, Jr., passed away on November 10, 2021.

Lillie worked at Redner's Markets, Leesport, in the deli. She also worked in the cafeteria for the Hamburg Area School District and had also previously worked at R.M. Palmer Chocolates. Lillie was a graduate of Reading High School and she truly enjoyed watching mystery murder shows, crafting, sewing, coloring, and painting.

Lillie is survived by her sister, Rebecca A. Moyer, wife of Thomas I. Moyer, West Reading, her nieces, Kathryn E. (Weidenhammer) Donnelli, wife of Mark E. Donnelli, Lawrenceville, PA, and Stacy (Moyer) Fritz, her nephews, Josh Weidenhammer, husband of Katie (Pazdrick) Weidenhammer, Mansfield, PA, and Chad T. Moyer, her great-nephews, Gaige B. Donnelli, Jacob B. Donnelli, and Bryson L. Weidenhammer, and her step-sister, Cecelia A. Hannahoe.

Services for Lillie will be held privately by her family. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
