Linda L. (Snyder) Eckert, 78, of Exeter Township, formerly of Temple, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Sinking Spring, PA.
Born March 14, 1948, in West Reading, Linda was the daughter of the late Bertrum and Eleanor (Bienes) Snyder. She and her husband of 56 years, Larry I. Eckert, were married on August 30, 1969, in the First Church of God, Reading
Linda was a 1966 graduate of Reading High School. She worked at the Credit Bureau, Reading, where she was a collections representative. Linda then worked at Wilson Products & Swifts Turkey Farm, Birdsboro, before joining American Casualty Insurance, which became CNA Insurance, where she worked in customer service until her retirement.
Linda was a member of the Alsace Senior Club and truly enjoyed street rods and reading books. Most of all, she loved spending time with Larry, whether it was travelling or just watching TV together.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Larry, is her brother Michael B. Snyder, husband of Liz J. (Schwank) Snyder, Reinholds, her niece, Carissa, her nephew, Troy, several great-nieces and great-nephews, by her brother-in-law, Terry Eckert, Dauberville, and by her lifelong friends, Michelle and William Shunk, Mohnton, and their family.
A visitation for Linda will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA.
Memorial Services for Linda will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, with the Rev. Gary L. Walbert, officiating. Burial will take place privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
