Mrs. Linda S. (Gladding) Kuronyi, 76, of Mertztown, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, April 13, 2026, at her home.
Born October 29, 1949, in Philadelphia, Linda was the daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline (Knopf) Gladding. She and her husband of 56 years, Walter G. Kuronyi, were married on February 14, 1970, in Macungie, PA.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of Emmaus High School. She went on to work in the export department at Capital Record, spent years as a housewife, raising her daughters, and then worked in construction. Linda enjoyed painting, hooking rugs, scrimshawing powder horns, quilting and loved singing opera.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Walter, are her daughters, Anne C. Kuronyi, and Margaret M. "Margo" (Kuronyi) Watson, wife of John O. Watson, III. She is also survived by her grandsons, John "Jack" Watson and Henry Watson, and by her sister, Pamela J. Gladding, and her husband, Erik Ohberg.
Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Magyar, and her favorite kitty, Poppy.
Memorial Services for Linda will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's memory to the Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
