Marion E. Burkman

Marion E. (Rickenbach) Burkman, 80, of Blandon, passed away on Tues, Sept. 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 12, 1935, she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Fisher) Rickenbach. She and her husband, William A. Burkman, were married for 52 years.

Marion was had worked for Diamond Brothers Furniture, Reading as an upholsterer and at the Reading Laundry. She loved all kinds of plants.

In addition to her husband, Marion is survived by her grandsons, Christopher L. Burkman, husband of Nana (Park) Burkman and Justin A. Burkman, both of Blandon. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Breaze M. Burkman.

Along with her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her Son, William Adam Burkman, who passed away in 1990 and her brothers Adam, Charlie and Morris.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Oct 5, from 10 to 11 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. Interment will be private in Laureldale Cemetery.
