Mrs. Miriam (Borrell) Rauenzahn

Mrs. Miriam (Borrell) Rauenzahn, 86, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Born November 18, 1939, in Fleetwood, Miriam was the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Helen M. (Reinert) Borrell. Her husband of 55 years, Haston E. "Buddy" Rauenzahn, passed away on December 1, 2015.

Miriam was a graduate of Fleetwood Area High School and worked on the assembly line for Western Electric. She loved animals and enjoyed working at Oley Valley Animal Clinic where she worked in reception and assisted with the animals. Miriam enjoyed gardening, hunting arrowheads, and most of all, she loved animals, especially her doggies.

Miriam is survived by her two children, Kerry L. Rauenzahn, husband of Catherine A. (Santangelo) Rauenzahn, Fleetwood, and Shawney R. (Rauenzahn) Geisinger, wife of Greg A. Geisinger, Fleetwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joseph, Rachelle, Christopher, Kelly, Meghann, Katie and Jacob, her great-grandchildren, Dante, Landon, Ella, Olivia, Nora, Declan, and Catherine Rose, and by her sisters, Dorothy Miller, Fleetwood, and Joan Bailey, Fleetwood.

Along with her husband, Buddy, and her parents, Miriam was preceded in death by her brothers, Arthur Borrell and Samuel Borrell.

Services for Miriam will be held privately by her family.
