Mrs. Nancy J. (Urban) Ketner, 73, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at her home.
Born October 7, 1952, in Reading, Nancy was the daughter of Julia (Scislaw) Urban, Hazleton, and the late Anthony Urban. She and her husband of 31 years, Eric L. Ketner, were married in Lake Tahoe, California, on July 17, 1994.
Nancy was a 1970 graduate of Wilson High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in French from Millersville University in 1974. Nancy also received her nursing degree from Alvernia University.
Nancy worked as a registered nurse, specializing in wound care, at Lehigh Valley Hospital at the Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg hospitals. She taught French and English at Antietam High School and also worked in the accounting department at Grosfillex, Robesonia. Nancy also owned and operated Tika Bags.
Nancy was a member of the Penn State Master Gardeners and enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, and knitting. She truly loved all things French and cherished her time traveling with her family to France.
Surviving in addition to her Mom and her husband, Eric, are her daughter, Lauren R. (Guldin) Sanmartin, wife of Francesco Sanmartin, her brother, Todd Urban, husband of Pam Urban, Bernville, and her niece and nephews, Emily, Anthony, and Timothy.
Memorial Services for Nancy will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A visitation will be held with the family on Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
