Rosanne Marie Koehn Toews was born to Arlis and Ida Martin Koehn on July 4, 1988, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge, KS. Although too early for our hearts, she reached her ultimate goal of heaven, departing this life on Friday, November 28, 2025, reaching the age of 37 years. Cause of death was due to insufficient oxygen to the brain while in cardiac arrest. The family is grateful for the outstanding care she received from EMS and Lehigh Valley Hospital during this time.
Rosanne grew up on Raccoon Trail where she loved reading books, playing with her cats, and fussing over her stuffed animals. She received her education at Sunflower School. Starting at a young age, she cultivated close relationships with her schoolmates and youth friends, including sharing gifts and notes with the mail lady- only a small part of what her caring nature would become. At the age of 14, Rosanne surrendered her heart to God and was baptized into the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite by Minister Weldon Koehn.
Rosanne's career of care was spent at Moundridge Manor, beginning as a dietary aid, and finding her true value as a CNA. With her love of life, she won the hearts of the residents and co-workers alike. In 2011, she moved to Avera, GA to work at a bakery, and later at Shady Creek Greenhouses. Rosanne fell in love with the southern culture and formed many special friendships. She had a heart for anyone, but especially for those who were less fortunate or could benefit from a kind gesture.
Rosanne met Weston Toews while visiting Pennsylvania, and they married in Avera, GA on March 12, 2017. They shared eight and a half years together. They have three beautiful children, Abigail, Joshua, and Hadassah, who Rosanne cherished beyond measure. She loved giving them experiences- taking them to the library, zoos, and local events; crafting and cooking with them; and much more.
Rosanne found Christian life challenging. Recently we all noticed a change in her spirit and a softness demonstrating God's work in her heart. Our hearts ache with the grief of losing Rosie too soon with so many lives yet to touch, but we trust her to a big God. We anxiously wait to meet her in heaven.
Her survivors include her husband: Weston; children: Abigail (7), Joshua (4), and Hadassah (10 months); parents: Arlis and Ida Koehn, Galva, KS; siblings: Shirley and Brendan Daisley and daughter Evelyn, Denver, CO; Donovan and Chandelle Koehn and son Mavrick, Russellville, AR; Sharon and Seth Redenbaugh and sons Flynn and Davy, Windom, KS; parents-in-law John and Maxine Toews, Barron, WI; sister-in-law: Monica and Peter Zhang and children: Andrew, Tianne, and Eric, Hydro, OK. She was preceded in death by grandparents, two aunts, and two uncles.

Funeral Services for Rosanne will be held on Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, 1077 Richmond Rd, Fleetwood, with Ministers Kendall Koehn, Tom Koehn, and Verle Giesbrecht officiating. The family is very grateful for the support and prayers of this community.
