Mrs. Suellyn K. (Heist) Mileshosky

Mrs. Suellyn K. (Heist) Mileshosky, 79, of Blandon, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at her home.

Born February 13, 1946 in Reading, Suellyn was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Blanchard) Heist. She and her husband of 56 years, William J. Mileshosky, were married on December 21, 1968 in Reading.

Suellyn worked as a reading specialist for over 20 years for the Wyomissing and Hamburg School Districts. She also worked at the Tyson-Schoener Elementary School, Reading, for five years.

Suellyn was a 1964 graduate of Reading High School. She went on to earn Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1968 from Kutztown University and her Master's Degree in Education from Millersville University. She owned and operated Suzi-Que Baton & Drum Corps Studio for 15 years where she taught dance and baton. She was a long time member of St. Paul's UCC Church, Fleetwood. She was active with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, having received the Award of Merit from the Hawk Mountain Council, and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies

Suellyn loved the beach, having spent time over the last 30 years in her favorite beach spot, Rehobeth Beach, Delaware. She enjoyed playing the organ and going on cruises. Most of all, Suellyn truly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She spent countless hours attending their plays, and many sporting events. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband, William, are her children, James W. "Jaime" Mileshosky, husband of Carin B. (Montgomery) Mileshosky, Fleetwood, and Julie L. (Mileshosky) Cope, Fleetwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Maegan, Katelin, and Ryan.

Memorial Services for Suellyn will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood. A visitation for Suellyn will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
