Dallas R. DeVough

Dallas R. DeVough, 84, of Earl Township, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA.

Born April 27, 1937 in Mertztown, he was the son of the late Ralph and Sarah (Miller) DeVough. He and the love of his life, his wife of 63 years, Marie B. (Derr) DeVough, were married on August 2, 1958 in Mertztown.

Dallas worked for 44 years for the Eastern Foundry, Boyertown, as a molder. He was a member of the Glass Molders and Plastics Union where he also served as shop steward. He was a longtime member of the Pike Township Sportsmans Association and enjoyed hunting, cars and collecting antique coins and clocks.

Suriving in addition to his wife, Marie, are his four children, Faye Y. (DeVough) MaKros, wife of Rick D. MaKros, Boyertown, Dale R. DeVough, husband of Roberta L. (Frey) DeVough, Laureldale, Richard D. DeVough, husband of Dorothy A. (Drabinsky) DeVough, Hamburg, and Paula S. (DeVough) Kehler, wife of Chuck M. Kehler, Maidencreek Township.

Dallas is also survived by his grandchildren, Steven, Trisha, Joshua, Nicole, Richard, Christopher, Justin, Tasha, Cody, Andy, Riley and Madison and by his great-grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, Amanda, Nicole, Brandon, Izzie, Derek, McKenzie, Morgan, Ryan, Waylon and Otto.

Along with his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by his five brothers and sisters, Elda, Mary, Evelyn, George and Larry.

Memorial Services for Dallas will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood. A visitaiton will be held Friday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
