David E. Miller

David E. Miller, Sr., 71, of Mertztown, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, February 27, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, PA.

Born July 4, 1950 in West Reading, David was the son of the late Mary E. (Gephart) and Raymond W. Miller Sr. He and the love of his life, his wife of 50 years, Katherine D. (Weller) Miller, were married at Huff's Union Church on August 7, 1971.

David worked for Federal-Mogul, Boyertown, for 42 years as a line mechanic. He was a member of Huff's Union Church, the Nimrod Fish and Wildlife Association, the Mertztown Rod & Gun Club and a lifetime member of the N.R.A.

David attended Brandywine Schools and loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, doing auto repairs, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Katherine, are his sons, David E. Miller, Jr., husband of Kimberly R. (Fegley) Miller, Kutztown, and Adam C. Miller, husband of Melanie J. (Solt) Miller, Mertztown, and by his daughter-in-law, Crissy L. (Roth) Miller, widow of Jonathan L. Miller, David's son that passed away. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Eliza, Madelynn, Wyatt, Kinsley and Clay, by his brother, Raymond W. Miller, Jr., husband of Bonnie Miller, Reading, his sisters, Carolyn (Miller) Dise, widow of Dave Dise, Schwenksville and Alverta V. (Miller) Moyer, Lancaster, and by many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his son, Jonathan L. Miller.

Memorial Services for David will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 pm until time of services at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Huff's Union Church Cemetery, Alburtis.
