Dorothy E. (Gaumer) Geisler

Dorothy E. (Gaumer) Geisler, 79, of Fleetwood, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 4, 1941 in Richmond Twp, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Eva C. (Adams) Gaumer.

Dorothy proudly served her country honorably and faithfully as a member of the United States Army from 1957-1961.

Dorothy worked for many years in the cafeteria at Fleetwood Area Middle School. She also worked as a crossing guard at Richmond and Main Streets in Fleetwood until just recently.

Dorothy was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Kutztown and a 1959 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. She loved traveling, gardening and most of all, spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Duane K. Geisler, husband of Karen L. (Heagy) Geisler, Fleetwood, and Kane M. Geisler, San Diego, CA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tad Gesiler and his girlfriend, Kathryn Gaugler, Dylan Geisler and his fiancee Nicole King, and Sydney Geisler, her great grandchildren, Lake Geisler and Quinn Henne, her brother, Gene Gaumer, husband of Theresa Gaumer, Birdsboro and by her nieces and nephews, Patricia, Steve, Steward, Denise, Chris, Tim, Jeff, Joey, Lisa, Alicia and Rachel.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Lynn Geisler and by her sister, Shirley (Gaumer) McGowan and her brother, Robert Gaumer.

Funeral Services for Dorothy will held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Burial will military honors will follow in Longswamp Cemetery.
