Eugene L. Liesau Obituary

Eugene L. Liesau, 67, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA.

Born September 22, 1953 in Phoenixville, he was the son of Jean Anne (Rawn) Liesau and the late Eugene F. Liesau, who passed away in 1989. He was married to Cynthia Ann (Kovach) Liesau on June 15, 1986.

Gene was an avid photographer with a love for art and music, especially his guitars. He was fiercely independent, but also willing to give to anyone in need.

Gene was an avid and proud Boy Scout and Eagle Scout. He was a 1971 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School.

In addition to his mother, Jean Anne, he is survived by his three daughters, Rachel M. (Liesau) Goldstein, wife of Cole H. Goldstein, Scranton, Sarah J. (Liesau) Blackburn, wife of Timothy R. Blackburn, Broomall, and Hanna J. (Liesau) Duclos, wife of Amanda Duclos, El Paso, TX. Gene is also survived by his sister, Joan Maguire, wife of Tom Maguire, Hershey.

Services for Gene will be private. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown.
