Francis J. Seeley Obituary

Francis J. Seeley, 70, of Blandon, formerly of Malvern, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home.

Born July 4, 1951 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles and Joan (Brennan) Seeley. He and his wife of 48 years, Linda J. (Hilton) Seeley, were married on March 10, 1973 in Beltsville, Maryland.

Francis taught social studies and U.S. history at Perkiomen Valley School District for 33 years. He also taught at Tredyffrin / Easttown School District. Francis was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Neumann High School, Philadelphia and a 1973 graduate of Villanova University.

Francis was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church, Limerick, where he served as an Elder for the church and was involved in many church activities. He was a member of the National Education Association and truly enjoyed reading, working out, sports of all kinds and loved to go shopping.

In addition to his wife, Linda, Francis is survived by his two children, Clifford C. Seeley, Malvern, and Amanda L. (Seeley) Hughes, Reading. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ethan Seeley, Michael Hughes, Sullivan Seeley and Sydney Seeley, and by his brother, Dennis Seeley, Philadelphia.

Services for Francis will be private.
