George B. Kriner

George B. Kriner, 87, of Mohrsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, in the presence of his loving family, at his home.

Born September 23, 1934 in Schuylkill Haven, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Mae L. (Yeager) Kriner. He and his wife of 50 years, Idella M. (Bennicoff) Kriner, were married on March 18, 1972 in Kenhorst.

George worked for Reading Rehabilitation as a security guard for 20 years. He also worked for Berks TV Cable installing cable wire for 7 years. He was a member of the Hamburg Community Seventh Day Adventist Church and a member of the NRA. He truly enjoyed tinkering with metals and coin collecting.

In addition to his wife, Idella, George is survived by his children, Debra A. (Kriner) Kline, wife of Roy Kline, Dryville, stepchildren, Randall D. Rinker, husband of Gloria (Good) Rinker, Ashland and Jeffrey D. Rinker, husband of Tess Rinker, Fleetwood. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Zach and his wife San, Seth and his wife Victoria, Josh and his wife Heather, step-grandchildren, Leah, Shawn, Monica, Zach, Rebekah, Vanessa, Victoria, Skyler, great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Christopher, Kalin, Remington, Oakley, Chalisse, Wyatt, and Hunter, great-great-granddaughter, Jacey and by his siblings, Fred, John, Samuel, William, Jackson, Pauline, Joyce, Janice, Lucy & Elaine.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Haldeman, his son, Randy Kriner, and his siblings, Leslie, Jerry, Peggy, Mildred and Celia.

Funeral Services for George will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 11:00 am Hamburg Community SDA Church, 22 Willow Rd, Hamburg. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow services in St. Michael's Union Cemetery, Hamburg.
