Polly S. (Mohn) King

Polly S. King, 70, of Hamburg, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Tower Health, Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.

Born May 6, 1951 in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Virginia M. (Andrus) Mohn.

Polly worked for Graco Children's Products, Morgantown, on the assembly line. She had also worked at Sweet Williams at the Berkshire Mall and assisted people as a Social Worker with Access. She was a 1969 graduate of Reading High School and went on to graduate from Reading Area Community College with a degree in data entry.

Polly loved watching cooking shows, reading cookbooks, cooking, baking and most of all, writing recipes.

Polly is survived by her three children, Shannon L. (King) Kohl, Reading, Peter A. King Jr., husband of Joanne (Garcia) King, Wernersville and Andrew R. King, Hamburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brianna and Ryley, her sister, Susan E. (Mohn) Hoff, Muhlenberg Township, and by her two nieces, Heidi and Meghann.

Along with her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emily Junz.

Services for Polly will be private and at the convenience of the family.
