Robert J. Koch, 66, of Richmond Township, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at his home.

Born February 9, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Mary A. (Gallagher) and Frederick J. Koch. He and his wife of 37 years, Wanda A. (Phillips) Koch, were married on May 22, 1982.

Robert was a self-employed contractor for many years. He worked in home construction and cabinetry. He also spent years working as an auto mechanic. Robert was a 1971 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School and loved fishing, woodworking and gardening.

Robert and Wanda served as foster parents in Bucks and Berks Counties for over 17 years, loving and caring for so many children.

In addition to Wanda, Robert is survived by his daughters, Crystal Peters, Reading and Melody Koch, York, PA and his grandchildren, Nolyn, Braylynn, Sophia, Ryan and Rayna. He is also survived by his 12 siblings, Frederick Koch, husband of Joan (Phillips) Koch, Quakertown, Jack M. Koch, husband of Kathleen A. (Celia) Koch, Quakertown, Paul Koch, Delran, NJ, Mary Anne (Koch) Smith, wife of Kenneth Smith, Maple Glenn, PA, Madelyn (Koch) Dombrow, wife of Roy Dombrow, Wesley Chapel, FL, Eileen (Koch) Deravedissian, widow of Tony Deravedissian, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ, Diane (Koch) Lauro, wife of Peter Lauro, Glenside, PA, Joseph Koch, husband of Maureen (O’Brien) Koch, Glenside, Elizabeth (Koch) Alexander, wife of Bill Alexander, Huntington Valley, PA, Carol A. (Koch) Cashman, wife of Michael Cashman, Glenside, Patricia B. (Koch) Hause, wife of Joel S. Hause, Glenside and Janet (Koch) Leo, wife of Vincent Leo, Springfield, MO and by many nieces and nephews.
