Sylvester A. Durrant

Sylvester A. Durrant, 78, of Exeter Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Tower Health Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.

Born July 9, 1942 in Manchester, Jamaica, he was the son of the late Hilda (Ford) and Herbert Durrant.

Sylvester worked for over 25 years as an independent distributor for Coca-Cola, Paterson, New Jersey. He enjoyed boxing, wrestling and especially old school R & B, Motown and reggae.

Sylvester is survived by his two sons, Sylvester A. Durrant, Jr., Exeter Township, and Orville Anthony Durrant, Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Nicolas, Pearl and Nina and by many brothers and sisters.

Along with his parents, Sylvester was preceded in death by his aunt, Madge.

Graveside Funeral Services for Sylvester will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s UCC Cemetery (Molltown), 219 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood, PA with Pastor Eric S. Goldsborough officiating.
