Mrs. Linda F. (Hecker) Fisher

Linda F. (Hecker) Fisher, 73, of Blandon, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA.

Born May 5, 1947 in Blandon, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Hinnershitz) Hecker. She and her husband of 51 years, Paul C. Fisher, were married on November 15, 1969 in Maidencreek Church, Blandon.

Linda worked in maintenance purchasing for Giorgio Foods prior to her retirement. She had also worked for Monterey Mushrooms, Campbell’s Soups and spent time as a hairdresser. Linda was a graduate of Fleetwood Area High School and a member of Maidencreek Church. She loved cooking and baking, doing crafts, decorating and especially playing bingo.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Paul, are her two children, Heather L. (Fisher) Readinger, wife of Barry L. Readinger, Blandon and Jason C. Fisher, Blandon. She is also survived by her grandson, Brandon L. Readinger.

Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her two infant children, Shannon and Darian.

Funeral Services for Linda will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon.

Visitations for Linda will be held on Friday evening, January 22, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
